Springfield, OH -- The Wittenberg Tiger women's volleyball team dropped a hard-fought four-set match to Otterbein University, 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 20-25, 23-25). Before the match, the Tiger and Cardinal volleyball programs celebrated Wittenberg defensive specialists, Cam Colahan, as a survivor of pediatric cancer.
Tyler Linkhart put down 14 kills on the evening to lead the Tiger attack, finishing with a .132 kill-percentage. Wittenberg middle, Kendall Black was a presence up front, posting six kills on 16 swings, finishing with a .312 hitting percentage. Mack Ricketts put up 29 assists for the Tigers. Linkhart would lead the team in services aces with 3, as well as Ricketts and Kaili Worecester each adding 2 of their own for the match. The Tigers will begin their conference matchups this Saturday, Septemebr 23rd, at Ohio Wesleyan. Start time is 1:00 PM.
