47th Women's Volleyball All-American

The Wittenberg University Women’s Volleyball team added another Tiger to their ever growing list of All America honoree’s, as senior libero Dakota White earned Honorable Mention status for her 2021 campaign.

White became the 47th Tiger to earn the American Volleyball Coaches Association honor, after fellow libero Taylor Yontz earned the accolade back-to-back in 2018 and 2019.

During her senior season, White tallied 647 total digs averaging 5.63 digs per set. A weapon at the service line, White tallied 34 aces, adding 112 assists on the season.

White, was the fourth Wittenberg player to earn NCAC Libero of the Year, as the award has gone to a Tiger seven times in total. She finished the regular season with a league-leading 5.72 digs per set.

The senior eclipsed the 20-dig mark in 15 different matches, which included four 30+ dig performances, a season-high 37 at Muskingum on Oct. 8, 32 versus Mount St. Joseph on Sept. 4, 31 against Hope on Sept. 11 and 30 at Denison on Oct. 27. White has also recorded 94 assists and 29 service aces in 27 matches.

During her time in the Red and White, Wittenberg earned thee NCAA DIII Women's Volleyball Tournament appearances, two NCAC regular season titles and two NCAC Tournament crowns.

White goes out with a senior class that holds an overall record of 57-26.
