SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers continued their march through the 2015 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) schedule after dispatching of the Denison Big Red 3-1.

The win was Wittenberg's 54th in a row in NCAC regular season play, dating back to the 2010 season. Denison has not defeated Wittenberg since 1991.

The Tigers cruised through the first two sets by scores of 25-6 and 25-14. After Denison rallied to win the third set 25-23, Wittenberg found its footing again in the fourth frame to secure the victory 25-17.

Wittenberg attacked at an efficient .265 clip, led by senior Kara Seidenstricker (London, Ohio/Jonathan Alder) with 14 kills and a .429 attack percentage on 34 swings. Seidenstricker also did the job defensively with 22 digs and five blocks, a total matched by senior Bryanna Jay (Girard, Ohio/Girard).

Junior Camila Quinones (Sunbury, Ohio/Worthington Christian) and sophomore Maddie Fischer (Minerva, Ohio/Minerva) also finished with double digit kill totals of 12 and 10, respectively. Freshman Karen Wildemann (Columbus, Ind./North) dished out 24 assists to lead in that department, and senior Kristina Fultz (Batavia, Ohio/Glen Este) topped the team in digs with 26.

Wittenberg is back in NCAC action again on Saturday, Oct. 3, with a Homecoming date opposite Wooster at 3 p.m.
