OBERLIN, Ohio – After an impressive win over Mount Union last night, Wittenberg kept the momentum up with a thorough straight-sets victory over Oberlin on Saturday.

Camila Quiñones (Sunbury, Ohio/Worthington Christian) attacked relentlessly, building a .625 hitting percentage on 11 kills and one error in 16 attempts. She helped the Tigers dominate all three sets by scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-18.

The Tigers improved to 18-3 and 6-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference due in large part to blocking, as Quiñones racked up two solo blocks and three assists, while junior Melissa Emming (West Chester, Ohio/Mount Notre Dame) had three solo blocks and one assist and sophomore Emily Kahlig (Coldwater, Ohio/Coldwater) had four assists.

Other key figures included junior Kristina Fultz (Coldwater, Ohio/Coldwater), who hit for a .462 percentage with seven kills and junior Bryanna Jay (Girard, Ohio/Girard) and Emming with six kills each.

Senior Meghan Vodopich (Canton, Ohio/Massillon Perry) dished out 15 assists and sophomore Courtney Huck (Decatur, Ill./St. Teresa) contributed 12, while Fultz led the team with 12 digs.

The Tigers return to Springfield for a showdown with Hiram at 7 p.m. in Pam Evans Smith Arena on Friday, Oct. 24.
