HIRAM, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers were nothing short of dominant with a 3-0 victory over Hiram in a battle of undefeated North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) co-leaders.

The win was Wittenberg's seventh in a row against the Terriers and the 31st in 34 all-time meetings between the two teams. It was also the Tigers' 41st NCAC regular season win in a row, dating back to a 2010 Hiram win on the same court at Price Gymasium.

Most importantly, Wittenberg moved within one win of its eighth straight NCAC regular season title and its 19th since joining the league in 1989. The Tigers can clinch a share of the 2013 crown with a win at Allegheny on Saturday.

Wittenberg was hitting on all cylinders against Hiram in sweeping the sets by scores of 25-20, 25-14, 25-18. The Tigers attacked at a robust .363 clip, while holding the host Terriers to .168.

Junior setter Meghan Vodopich (Canton, Ohio/Massillon Perry) was outstanding in her distribution again, finishing with a tremendous all-around stats line of six kills, 39 assists, eight digs and two solo blocks. Her favorite target on offense was sophomore Kara Seidenstricker (London, Ohio/Jonathan Alder), who finished with 12 kills on 30 swings.

Six different Wittenberg players finished with at least 11 attack attempts, a testament to Vodopich's ability to get a host of players involved. Freshmen Emily Kahlig (Coldwater, Ohio/Coldwater) and Camila Quinones (Sunbury, Ohio/Worthington Christian) each added nine kills on attack percentages above .430 in the match.

Defensively, Seidenstricker showed the way as well with 13 digs and three blocks. Kahlig also had three blocks.
