SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers were dominant as usual in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) play with a 3-0 whitewashing of visiting Ohio Wesleyan.

The win was Wittenberg's sixth in a row after a 2-5 start to the season, and it was the Tigers' 38th consecutive NCAC regular season victory. Wittenberg has not lost to Ohio Wesleyan since 1996, a span of 29 straight matches.

The Battling Bishops finished with a negative attack percentage in all three sets, even as Head Coach Paco Labrador liberally rotated 19 different players in and out of the match. The Tigers, on the other hand, finished with a sterling .265 attack percentage for the match as they rolled to wins by scores of 25-10, 25-9 and 25-14.

Wittenberg's offense was paced by sophomore Kara Seidenstricker (London, Ohio/Jonathan Alder) with eight kills. She also contributed nine digs to the defense.

While Seidenstricker finished with the highest kill total, she had plenty of teammates attacking at a far more efficient pace. Senior Andrea Behling (Columbus, Ind./North) pounded seven kills in eight attempts without an error, while sophomore Haley Mucha (Lewis Center, Ohio/Olentangy Orange) added five kills in six swings, also without an error. In addition, freshman Camila Quinones (Sunbury, Ohio/Worthington Christian) knocked down five kills and finished with a .400 attack percentage.

Also of note, junior Meghan Vodopich (Canton, Ohio/Massillon Perry) dished out 18 assists to go along with three kills and seven digs, and sophomore Katie Zito (Canton, Ohio/Massillon Jackson) led both teams in digs with 12.
