OBERLIN, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers have lost just one North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) regular season match in the last 12 years. That's the same number the Oberlin Yeowomen have won since 2003.

Predictably, the Tigers rolled on the road by scores of 30-21, 30-16, 30-20. Using a lineup of mostly reserve players, second-ranked Wittenberg improved to 16-0 overall and 4-0 in the NCAC.

The only starter in the lineup against Oberlin was junior libero Laura Fender (Toledo, Ohio/St. Ursula). She turned in another sterling effort, finishing with 17 digs and four aces.

Sophomore setter Kendall Obreza (Gainesville, Fla./Oak Hall) was solid in distributing 24 assists. Her primary targets were freshman outside hitter Amy Cox (Newark, Ohio/Catholic) with 13 kills and sophomore middle hitter Kate Snead (Westerville, Ohio/South) with 10 kills.
