Wittenberg Records 10th Straight Sweep In Win Over Earlham

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Wittenberg Tigers continued to dominate opponents Tuesday with a 3-0 win over North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) rival Earlham.

The Tigers, who have won 10 straight matches by 3-0 scores and now have won 32 consecutive games, are now 22-0 overall and 6-0 in the NCAC. The Quakers dropped to 8-10 overall and 2-4 in the NCAC.

The usual suspects did the offensive damage for Wittenberg as senior outside hitters Jan Kehres (Alliance, Ohio/Alliance) and Emily Bell (Fort Wayne, Ind./Concordia Lutheran) combined for 14 kills and junior outside hitter Jackie Williams (Rocky River, Ohio/Magnificat) chipped in with half that number by herself.

Defensively, junior libero Laura Fender (Toledo, Ohio/St. Ursula) led the way with 17 digs.
