Emily Bell Earns AVCA National Player of the Week Honors

Emily Bell, a junior outside hitter from #15 Wittenberg, has been named the Sports Imports/AVCA Division III National Player of the Week. Bell led the Tigers to four wins last week, posting double-doubles in all four victories. Bell's best match of the week came against Ohio Wesleyan, where she tallied 18 kills, her high for the week, with only two errors in 32 attempts for a .500 percentage; she added 17 digs in that match. Her high in digs for the week came against Heidelberg, when she collected 29 in the five-game win. For the week, the Tiger junior averaged 4.5 kills per game at a .415 clip, and 5.6 digs per game.
