HUNTINGDON, Pa. - The eighth-ranked Wittenberg University Tiger volleyball team got the 2004 season off to a great start with a 3-0 victory over Gettysburg in the first round of the Juniata Tournament.

The Tigers captured all three games with ease, finishing with scores of 30-14, 30-20 and 30-15. Senior Kristin Fox had a big match, finishing with 15 kills and eight blocks. Senior Sarah Yuskewich added five blocks and 41 assists. And senior Monica McDonald played well defensively and added eight kills, while senior Emilie Schmid chipped in with 15 digs from her libero position.
