Women's Tennis Splits Weekend

Springfield, Ohio – The Wittenberg women's tennis team split the weekend, falling to the Panthers of Hanover College 7-2 on Saturday. The Tigers would bounce back with a 5-1 over Heidelberg 5-1 on Sunday.

 

MATCH ONE

  • The doubles pairing of Sarah Gallup and Harunya Ravindran def. Caroline Millard and Ruth Gaston, 8-6 on the first doubles court.
  • Carli Milano would earn the second Wittenberg win on the first singles court def. Meghan Farrell, 6-2, 7-6 (8-6).

MATCH TWO

  • The doubles pairing of Gallup and Ravindran def. Esme Salazar/Aline Rojas, 8-0 on the first doubles court.
  • Kathleen McGuff and Milano picked up the win on the second doubles court over Osterman/Torres, 8-0.
  • Gallup would win the second singles court, 6-0, 6-2.
  • Ravindran would win the third singles court, 6-2, 6-2.
  • Alivia Livesay would take the final court for Wittenberg 6-0, 6-1.
