Springfield, Ohio – The Wittenberg women's tennis team opened the 2018 spring season on the road with two matches, taking on St. Mary's College (Ind.) and University of St. Francis (Ind.). The Tiger's split the road opener falling to St. Mary's in the first match 6-3, before moving on to defeat St. Francis 7-2. Wittenberg picked up all three of their wins in the first match in singles action. With a near sweep in singles action, the Tigers took five of six singles matches and two of three doubles in the second match of the day.

• Harunya Ravindran def. Jenna Lehman 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-1).
• Kathleen McGuff def. Shelby Richardson 6-2, 6-2.
• Zandrea Simpson def. Lauren Zack 6-4, 6-4.
• The duo of Ravindran/Gallup def. Hannah Haas/Jenna Lehman 8-0.
• McGuff/Milano def. Shelby Richardson/Rebecca Faber 8-5.
