Springfield, Ohio – The Wittenberg women's tennis team improved to 2-0 this fall, taking down the Trine Thunder 7-2 on Saturday. The Tigers got things started by taking two of three doubles courts, before going on to win the singles portion of the match 5-1. The doubles pairing of Sarah Gallup and Harunya Ravidran picked up their second straight wins on both the doubles and singles courts.
MATCH NOTES
- Olivia Boland and Carli Milano earned the second doubles win for the Tigers, with an 8-4 decision.
- Carli Milano won her first singles match of the 2017 season in straight set fashion 6-2 6-2.
- Kathleen McGuff and Zandrea Simpson each went the distance, taking their matches three sets for their second wins of the season.
