GAMBIER, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers opened the 2015 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Tournament with a quarterfinal round loss to DePauw.

The top-seeded DePauw Tigers won the match 5-0 to advance to the semifinals at 11 a.m. Saturday against fourth-seeded Kenyon, the host team for the event. Eighth-seeded Wittenberg saw its record slump to 1-12 overall, heading into the 2014-15 season finale against Wooster at 9 a.m. Saturday, also at Kenyon.

DePauw won all three doubles matches to take command of the match. In singles, the Indiana-based Tigers quickly clinched the team victory with wins at the No. 4 and No. 5 positions, as the other four matches were not played to a conclusion with the winner already decided.
