WOOSTER, Ohio - Playing indoor in the spacious Scot Center due to inclement weather, the Wittenberg Tigers dropped a 9-0 decision to host Wooster.
The loss dropped Wittenberg to 1-6 on the season, while Wooster improved to 3-8.
Wittenberg was missing several players due to class commitments, so two of the points Wooster earned by forfeits. The closest match was played at No. 1 singles, where senior Georgia Bennett (Chillicothe, Ohio/Chillicothe) lost a 6-4, 6-2 decision.
The Tigers return to action on Monday, April 6, with a home date against Cedarville. The starting time is 4:30 p.m.
