SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers dropped below .500 for the first time in the 2013-14 season after an 8-1 loss to Ohio Wesleyan at the Albright Tennis Complex.

Wittenberg now stands 6-7 overall and 0-2 in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) West Division. Ohio Wesleyan improved to 5-9 overall and 1-2 in the division.

After the Battling Bishops picked up a doubles sweep, Ohio Wesleyan carried the momentum into singles action, winning five of the six matches. The bright spot on the day came from freshman Olivia Underwood (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Marian), who won a pair of tiebreakers to claim a hard-fought win at No. 1 singles.

The Tigers have two matches remaining in the regular season before heading into NCAC Tournament action April 25-27.
