Tigers Split Double Dual With Wilmington, Transylvania

Springfield, OH - Wittenberg University's Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams competed in a double dual meet against Wilmington College and Transylvania University. The women split their competitions, with a win over Wilmington and loss to Transylvania, while the men lost to both visiting teams.

Up Next - Both teams will be competing at Centre College on Saturday, November 4 at 1:00 p.m.

Women's Notables

  • Defeated Wilmington, 139-128, and lost to Transylvania, 164-109
  • The team of Clark, Paskiet, Schuld and Stone were the fastest in the 200 yard medley relay, finishing in 1:57.93
  • McKenna Clark placed 1st in the 200 yard freestyle, tapping the wall at 2:27.92
  • Sophie Paskiet finished 1st in the 100 yard breaststroke in a time of 1:11.51
  • In the 200 yard butterfly, Mackenzie Schuld finished in 1st with a time of 2:27.53 while Addy Payne finished second at 2:44.62
  • In the 50 yard freestyle Shania Stone finished in 25.78, good enough for 1st
  • Rebekah Lebold came in 2nd in one meter diving with a score of 159.39
  • Stone won the 100 yard freestyle in 56.89 and Clark came in 2nd
  • Schuld then finished 1st in the 200 yard backstroke, hitting the wall at 2:23.26
  • Paskiet finished the 200 yard breaststroke in 2:37.71 for first place
  • In the 200 yard freestyle relay, the team of Clark, Lebold, Schuld and Stone finished second with at time of 1:47.62

  • Lost to Wilmington, 178-57, and lost to Transylvania, 214-53
  • Zach Parkman finished 1st in the 200 yard Butterfly with a time of 2:02.32
