Jamie Tipton joined the Tiger coaching staff prior to the 2011 season.

A native of Key West, Fla., Tipton played collegiate soccer for Embry-Riddle University, helping the Eagles to a Florida Sun Conference championship, a Region XIV title, and a national tournament appearance as the team consistently ranked in the top 25 nationally. She earned her bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle in aviation business administration in 2008, graduating magna cum laude with academic honors.

Tipton served as an assistant coach at Archbishop Alter High School in nearby Kettering from 2008-10 and also assisted with the Northeastern High School program in 2011. She currently coaches a youth team with Metro FC and is actively involved with the Ohio South Olympic Development Program. Tipton currently holds a National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and a National D License from the United States Soccer Federation.

A recipient of multiple aviation awards in her home state of Florida, Tipton currently works as a flight coordinator for NetJets Aviation in Columbus, Ohio. She is an active member of the Ohio Regional Business Aviation Association and the National Business Aviation Association. She currently resides in Springfield with her husband, Matt.
