Cassie Lythjohan

Cassie Lythjohan returned to her alma mater as an assistant coach in the women's soccer program in April 2015. Her primary responsibility is to train Wittenberg's goalkeepers.

A native of Centerville, Ohio, Lythjohan appeared in 36 games as a goalkeeper for the Tigers over the course of three seasons after starting her collegiate career at South Alabama University. She was credited with 127 saves in her Wittenberg career.

Lythjohan, who made 22 starts, was named second-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) and second-team All-Ohio following the 2012 season.

Off the field, Lythjohan earned her bachelor of arts in education from Wittenberg. She is now Ohio certified in early childhood education and as an intervention specialist K-12 mild-moderate.

Since graduation, Lythjohan has worked as an intervention specialist for third graders in the West Liberty-Salem School District. She has also served as an assistant girls soccer coach for West Liberty-Salem High School.
