Tigers Take Advantage of Chances to Top Bishops

Springfield, OH-The Women's Soccer team took on the Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan in a close match that ended in a 2-1 victory for the Tigers. 

Just under 20 minutes into the match, Paige Kaiser headed the ball into the back of the net on a cross into the box by Grace Koperna. Just 5 minutes later, Koperna scored a goal of her own after receiving the Wittenberg corner from Brooke Mullis. Ohio Wesleyan answered with one goal shortly into the second half, but they were held in check for the rest of the half. 

Leaders-Alex Hill led the team with two shots and 6 different Tigers had a shot on goal. Lily Winkle saved 9 of the 10 shots on goal against her.
