Tigers Draw in Hard Fought Match

Springfield, OH-The Women's Soccer team took on Kenyon at home in a match that featured back and forth goals scored by both teams throughout. Both theams scored one in the first half and two in the second to end the game with a final score of 3-3. 

Kenyon opened the scoring only 7 minutes into the game, but the Tigers answered with a goal of their own by Leah Rocchetta, who was assisted by Brooke Mullis. Both teams were held scoreless for the remainder of the first half. 

To begin the second half, Ava Otey scored on a long-range goal from the right side of the field, but that goal was immediately answered by Kenyon only a minute later to make the score 2-2. Less than 5 minutes later, Hannah Heald found the back of the net after another assist from Mullis. Another 5 minutes later, Kenyon answered once again to tie the score at three and both teams went scoreless for the last 30 minutes of the game. 

Leaders-Grace Koperna tallied 3 shots in the game and four different players had a shot on goal. Mullis led the team with 2 assists and Lily Winkle saved 6 of the 9 shots on goal against her. 

Notables-Both teams finished the game with 14 shots on goal and Kenyon had a slight advantage in corner kicks, 4-3.
