Tigers Win Using Big Second Half

Springfield, OH-The Women's Soccer team took on the Bluffton Beavers at Edwards-Mauer Field and took home the 5-1 win after a four goal second half. 

Bluffton came out and scored the first goal of the game just a couple of minutes into the game. Wittenberg was able to answer in the 12th minute on a goal from Hannah Heald, on an assist from Alex Hill in order to go into the half tied at one. 

Wittenberg came out in the second half and scored in the 72nd minute with a long goal from Liz Wile. Just a minute later, Rachel Spencer found the back of the net. Again, in the 82nd minute, Ava Otey scored on an assist from Rachel Spencer. To cap off the game, Alex Hill scored in the 85th minute. 

Notables-On the game, Wittenberg led in shots 26-2 and led in corners as well, 10-2. The Tigers played 2 goalies, Lily Winkle and Katie Wisniewski, who was credited with the win.
