Tigers Dominate in 2-0 Win

The Women's Soccer team took to the field against Spalding on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers were able to clinch their first win of the season after shutting out Spalding 2-0.  

Wittenberg dominated the field with 8 shots and 3 corner kicks for the first half. Sophomore Leah Rocchetta recorded her first career goal for the Tigers in the 27th minute. The Tigers would continue to pressure their opponent in the second half with a second goal of the game from sophomore, Alex Hill, assisted by junior, Brooke Mullis in the 82nd minute. The team accumulated a total of 27 shots with 13 on goal for the game. With the team succeeding on the field goalkeepers Lily Winkle and Katie Wisniewski were able to split their time in goal facing zero shots on goal.
