Tigers Draw in Hard Fought Match

Springfield, OH- Wittenberg took on Trine and came away with a 1-1 draw after a hard-fought defensive match. 

Trine started the scoring only four minutes into the match to take an early 1-0 lead. Wittenberg came back with a goal by Chamberlain Browning in the 32nd minute off an assist from Brooke Mullis after the corner kick. After being tied 1-1 at half, both teams had many chances in the second half, but weren't able to find the back of the net. 

Notables: The Tigers lead in shots, 13-6, as well as corners, leading 6-3 and nine different Tigers players had at least one shot during the match. 

Leaders: Mullis led the team in shots with 4 and had the lone assist of the game. Lily Winkle played the full game in goal and only allowed one goal on 6 shots. 

Up Next: The Tigers will play again at home tomorrow, Sunday September 17th at 1:00 against Spalding.
