Ada, OH- The Tigers started their season taking on the Polar Bears of Ohio Northern at Kerscher Stadium. After two hard fought halves, the Tigers walked away with a 0-0 draw.
In the first half of play the Tigers were able to take a shot against Ohio Northern, but could not capitalize, while Lily Winkle saved both shots on goal against her in the first half.
In the second half, the Tigers took two more shots, one on goal by Rachel Spencer, which was saved by the ONU keeper. The Polar Bears had another two shots on goal that were saved by Winkle as well. After both teams were held scoreless the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
Up Next: The Tigers will return to action on the road September 3rd at Hanover for a 2:00 PM matchup.
