Red & White Draw 1-1 Against Comets

Springfield, OH- Wittenberg returned home for a match-up with a familiar Capital team. The Tigers have seen the Comets in competition a total of 21 times in program history with an all-time record of 13-6-2. The Tigers were unable to come away with a win and advance in the season with a 1-6-3 record after a 1-1 draw today.

Alex Hill was able to get on the board in the 26th minute unassisted to give Wittenberg the lead heading into the half. Capital was able to come back in the 79th minute of play to tie the match. Wittenberg was able to get nine shots off on the night from six different Tigers and draw two corner kicks on the night.

NCAC Leaders: Brooke Mullis currently sits at number six in the conference for goals with three on the year. Mullis also lands on the list for game winning goals after scoring in the 83rd minute against Otterbein for a 2-1 win on September 13th.  Lastly, Mullis sits in the top ten for points at number nine with seven points on the season.
