Green Scores First Goal of Season in Draw Against Heidelberg

Springfield, OH- Wittenberg returned to Edwards-Maurer Field for their second match of the year against a Heidelberg team that hasn't been seen by the program in official competition since 2014. In the all time series the Red & White sit tied with a 6-6-1 and will continue to stay tied after a 1-1 draw in todays match.

While Wittenberg was able to lead offensively with 10 shots on the day, they were only able to connect with the back of the net in the 85th minute of play with freshman Ashley Green making her collegiate debut off of an assist from Brooke Mullis.

Leaders: The Tigers were led by fresh faces on offense with freshmen Alex Hill getting three shots off on goal and Ashley Green getting the tying goal in the net. In goal for Wittenberg was Badin Clark with her second start of the year and three saves on the day.
