Tigers Fall To Capital On The Road

Columbus, OH -- The Wittenberg Tigers took a trip East for their sixth away match of the season. The Tigers were met by the Capital Crusaders in Columbus, where the Tigers fell 1-0. These two teams have met a total of 21 times, with the Tigers leading the win column with 13 victories over the Crusaders. Leading the charge with two shots on goal was forward Hannah Heald while the team totaled nine for the evening. 

On defense, goalkeeper Katie Wisniewski faced 18 total shots, saving seven, and allowing one goal the entire game. It was a back-and-forth battle between the two teams, midfielder Emily Wile containing the middle and tallying one shot on goal.
