Tigers Suffer Tough Loss At Kenyon

Gambier, OH – The Wittenberg women's soccer team traveled to Kenyon College on Saturday afternoon, taking on the Ladies in an NCAC showdown. The Tigers suffered a tough 1-0 loss on the day, as the two sides were evenly matched throughout the afternoon. Kenyon took the lead in the 67th minute, as the Tigers led the shot count in the second half 8-6. Brooke Peters posted five shots for the Red and White, placing one on frame. Grace Nation and Kaitlyn Krieg each added two shots apiece for Wittenberg. Kelly Corbin logged 90 minutes in net for the Tigers, making five saves against six shots on goal.

Wittenberg will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 12 when they host they Yeowomen from Oberlin College at 4:00 PM.
