Kansas City, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches Association announced its 2017-18 Collegiate Team Academic Award last week. The Wittenberg women's soccer team produced results both on the field and in the classroom, as the Tigers garnered a team GPA of 3.14.

The Tigers are amongst 773 total soccer teams (289 men, 484 women) to earn this award, posting a grade point average of 3.0 or above. Wittenberg joins five other North Coast Athletic Conference member teams on the women's side to receive the award for the 2017-18 academic year.
