Ada, Ohio – The Wittenberg women's soccer team fell to the Polar Bears of Ohio Northern University 2-0 on Tuesday night. The Tigers traveled to Ohio Northern for one final out of conference contest, before diving into the bulk of their NCAC schedule. Wittenberg will host the Saints of Thomas More College on Oct. 10 in a rematch of the 2017 NCAA opening round match.

Ohio Northern would lead the shot count on the evening 25-2. Wittenberg would not be able to find their first shot until the second half. The first corner kick opportunity for the Tigers would also come late in the game, as Ohio Northern would set the pace with nine corners on the night. Junior Kelly Corbin logged 90 minutes in the net for the Tigers, recording seven saves against nine Ohio Northern shots on goal.
