Tigers Drop Road Showdown At Otterbein

Westerville, Ohio – The Wittenberg women's soccer team suffered a tough 3-0 loss on the road to the Cardinals of Otterbein University on Tuesday night. The Tigers move to 2-4-1 on the season.

Game Breakdown

Wittenberg kept the Cardinals off the board in the first half, going into the break deadlocked at zero. Otterbein would lead the shot count after 45-minutes of action, taking 16 shots, placing seven on goal. Junior Kelly Corbin made three saves in the first half for the Tigers. Wittenberg would start to find some offense in the second half, as Shannon Brueck took three shots and placing one on target.

Wittenberg is set to open up NCAC action on Saturday, Sept. 22 when they host the Ladies of Kenyon College at Edwards-Maurer Field at 1:00 PM.
