Megan Davis Set Piece Propels Wittenberg Past Wooster

Springfield, Ohio – The Wittenberg University women's soccer team hosted the College of Wooster Fighting Scots in front of a packed Edwards-Maurer Field for their annual #CodeRED game. The Tigers had their scoring chances through the first half before Megan Davis would capitalize on the set piece in the 63rd minute to give Wittenberg the 1-0 lead. The set piece came after just one of three Fighting Scots fouls committed in the second half. With under thirty minutes of action left, Davis sent her one of two shots on goal during the day, a hard-bending shot for the Wooster upper corner just out of the keepers reach.
