Women's Soccer Holds Off Transylvania In 0-0 Double OT Draw

Springfield, Ohio – The Wittenberg women's soccer team battled the Pioneers of Transylvania University for 110 minutes of double overtime on Wednesday night at Edwards-Maurer Field, holding onto a 0-0 tie. The two teams were evenly matched through the first 90 minutes of action, each taking six shots on goal. The Tigers picked up the pace of play during the added time, getting three more shots off in the first portion of overtime, adding one more chance on goal in the final ten minutes.
