Women's Soccer Unable To Find The Back Of The Net At Hanover

Hanover, Ind. – It was a battle of two halves for the Wittenberg women's soccer team, falling short to Hanover on the road 1-0. The shots were abundant on the afternoon, as the Tigers led the Panthers 17-13. Though it was the balance of shot taking between the two teams through the duration, as Wittenberg took 13 of their 17 opportunities in the second half. The Tigers were able to step up on defense in the second half after conceding the lone Hanover goal in the 41st minute, Wittenberg allowed just three Panthers shots throughout the final 45 minutes.
