URBANA, Ohio — The Wittenberg women's soccer team delivered a 2-0 defeat to the NCAA Division II Urbana Blue Knights Saturday afternoon, moving to 7-2-1 overall and in the process extending an unbeaten streak to five games.

Striebel scored in the 17th minute off the goalkeeper's hands from 20 yards away, while Chambers notched her team-leading fifth goal of the season on a double assist from Striebel and junior forward Megan Utter (Grand Rapids, Mich./East Grand Rapids).

Sophomore goalkeeper Melissa Gartner (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Ursula), after facing just 36 shots and forced into only 10 saves with four goals allowed over 500 minutes in 10 games, was put to the test with 13 shots and responded with six saves and no goals allowed against Urbana.

Sophomore Cassie Lythjohan (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) stopped three shots while protecting the net in the second half.
