Springfield, Ohio — The last set of 2010 men's and women's soccer postseason awards has been handed out, with a trio of Wittenberg Tigers earning first-team NCAA Division III All-Ohio awards from the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA).

For the women, who finished second in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) regular season standings and 13-5-1 overall in 2010, midfielder Kailey Striebel, class of 2013 from Kettering, Ohio, and defender Erin McLeish, class of 2011 from Dublin, Ohio, earned first-team awards. The men, who finished 5-10-3 overall in 2010, were represented by goalkeeper Michael Lambeck, class of 2012 from Dublin, Ohio.

Striebel previously earned first-team All-Great Lakes Region from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and first-team All-NCAC after leading the Tigers with nine goals, seven assists and 25 total points. Three of her goals were game-winners. A starter in all 41 games of her collegiate career, Striebel finished with five goals and a team-best four assists in 2009. Three of her goals a year ago were game-winners.

McLeish previously earned second-team all-region and first-team all-conference honors. She played three seasons at Wittenberg, moving from a reserve midfielder who appeared in 20 of the team's 21 games in 2008 to a defensive stalwart who started all 19 games in 2010. Remarkably, four of McLeish's five career collegiate goals were credited as game-winners, including three of the four she scored in 2010.

Lambeck enjoyed a breakout 2010 season, backstopping a Tiger defense that cut its goals allowed total from 41 to 23 while helping the team improve its win total by two. Handicapped by an offense that did not score a goal in the last five games of the season, Lambeck made a career-high 110 saves, second-most in the NCAC. He previously earned his first-team All-NCAC honors.
