Shana Ryan
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio--- Junior defender Shana Ryan (London, Ohio/London) has been named to the NSCAA/Adidas women's scholar athlete All-East Region third team. Ryan was honored for her efforts in maintaining a 3.93 grade point average during her three years at Wittenberg.
All women's soccer players who participate at the NCAA Division I, II or III level are eligible for the award.
"This is another honor that Shana can add to her already impressive list of accomplishments as a student-athlete at Wittenberg," said head coach Fran Kulas. "She has really done an excellent job of setting the standard for current and future players in our program, from both an academic and an athletic standpoint."
The Tigers, under the leadership of first year head coach Fran Kulas, finished the season with a 7-11-1 overall record and a 4-4 finish in the conference.
