Nicholle St. Pierre joined the coaching staff at Wittenberg University in August 2014, replacing Beth Hemminger, who was named the first-ever women’s lacrosse head coach at Ohio Northern University following the 2014 season.

In her first season on the sidelines at Edwards-Maurer Field, St. Pierre guided the Tigers to a first-place finish in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) with a perfect 8-0 record. Overall, Wittenberg finished 11-4 in 2015, and the Tigers followed that up with a 13-4 mark, second place in the NCAC and a runner-up finish in the NCAC Tournament in 2016.

St. Pierre came to Wittenberg from Philadelphia University, where she served as an assistant women’s lacrosse coach since August 2012. During her two seasons with the Rams, St. Pierre was involved in all facets of the program, including recruiting, alumni relations, compliance and various on-field coaching duties. Philadelphia University posted records of 14-5 in 2013 and 17-1 in 2014, the best record in program history.

In addition to her work at Philadelphia University, St. Pierre coached for Quaker City Lacrosse Club in Lower Merion, Pa., in 2013, and Aftershock Lacrosse Club in Collegeville, Pa., in 2011 and 2012. She also has worked a wide variety of lacrosse camps and clinics across several states dating back to 2006.

A native of Pottstown, Pa., St. Pierre was a four-year letterwinner as an attacker at Temple University. She appeared in 29 games, including six starting assignments, during her career. St. Pierre earned her bachelor’s degree in speech, language and hearing communication from Temple in 2011. Following the 2017 season, St. Pierre was named the head coach at Baldwin Wallace University.
