Emily Wadds Leads NCAA DIII In Draw Controls Per Game

Springfield, Ohio – The NCAA Division III has published the 2018 women's lacrosse statistical champions for this past season. Junior Emily Wadds led the nation in draw control wins per game for the Tigers earning 11.31 draw control wins per game with 181 total in 16 games.

A staple in the Tiger's offense for the third year in a row, Wadds earned All-North Coast Athletic Conference Honorable-Mention honors at the attack position, averaging 3.7 points-per-game. The Cincinnati, Ohio native recorded 50 goals and seven assists in total, accounting for nearly 30% of the Wittenberg goals this season. Wadds 57 points led Wittenberg, as the junior has totaled 138 goals, 31 assists and 118 ground-balls in three seasons in Springfield.

Wittenberg finished the 2018 campaign with a 5-11 overall mark and a 3-5 NCAC record.
