Women's Lax Falls On The Road To Kenyon

Gambier, Ohio – The Wittenberg women's lacrosse team took on the Ladies of Kenyon College from the road, falling in their NCAC showdown 18-8 on the night. The Tigers tallied 19 shots, picking up 14 ground balls with 13 draw control wins. Wittenberg was successful on 12 of 17 clear attempts while converting on one of six free position shot attempts. The Tiger offense was led by Victoria Zysik, scoring four goals with seven shot attempts and picking up two ground balls. Emily Wadds would add two goals for Wittenberg with 10 draw control wins for the visiting team. Sarah Farnsworth would cause four Kenyon turnovers with four ground balls picked up on the day. Madeline Stock and Faith Meads would each add a goal for the Wittenberg offense against the Ladies.
