Women's Lacrosse Falls To Centre

Danville, Ky. – The Wittenberg women's lacrosse team traveled to Centre College, falling to the Colonels 17-5. The Tiger's went into the half trailing 12-1, putting up 10 shots through the first thirty minutes of action. Wittenberg picked up 10 ground balls, while also recording five successful clears on nine attempts, finishing 11 of 17 in the game.

 

GAME BREAKDOWN

Stock put Wittenberg on the board with just over two minutes left in the first half, capitalizing on the only free position attempt of the half. After Center would come out to score the first three goals of the second half. Emily Wadds got the Wittenberg offense going in the second half with the second Wittenberg goal, scoring on the free position shot. Moments later, Stock would begin her way to a second-half hat-trick scoring her first of three goals in a span of four minutes. The first coming off an assist from Wadds, with the second two goals coming off feeds from Rachel Bernard.
