St. Pierre Named Head Coach at Baldwin Wallace University

Springfield, Ohio—Nicholle St. Pierre was named head women's lacrosse coach at Baldwin Wallace University on Tuesday, concluding her three-year tenure as head coach at Wittenberg.

"Our athletic department and women's lacrosse program is better because of Nicholle's leadership. While sad to see her leave, I know that our program is stronger today than before Nicholle arrived and we have a tremendous group of women who we have high expectations for. We wish Nicholle all the best as she transitions to Baldwin-Wallace," said Director of Athletics Dr. Gary Williams.

During her time in Springfield, St. Pierre led the Tigers to a combined 35-15 record, including an NCAC Season Championship in her first season in 2015. She followed that up with a second-place finish in the conference in 2016. Under her guidance, the Tigers earned Intercollegiate IWLCA Academic Honor Squad honors all three years. St. Pierre also graduated Logan Warye, the NCAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2015, Carrie Kubasta the NCAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2016 and three IWLCA All-Great Lakes Region honorees.

"It has been a true honor to serve as the Wittenberg University women's lacrosse coach. I have thoroughly enjoyed my three years at Wittenberg and I want to thank Gary Williams, the rest of the athletic department and most importantly the student athletes that I have had the great pleasure of coaching. I will always hold on to the memories and relationships I built at Wittenberg but look forward to the next chapter in my coaching career," said St. Pierre.

A national search for Wittenberg's next women's lacrosse coach is currently underway.
