Pine Mountain, Georgia – The Wittenberg University women's golf team opened the spring portion of their schedule over the weekend by finishing 11th out of 14 teams at the weather-shortened Callaway Garden's Collegiate, played at the par-73, 5,826-yard Mountain View G.C. in Pine Mountain, GA.

The Tigers combined for an 18-hole team score of 340, while Methodist won the team title at the one-round event with a 308.

Individually, junior Madi Wolters paced the Tigers at the weather-shortened, finishing just outside the top-10 as part of an eight-way tie for 12th with a six-over par score of 79. Senior Devon Atchison also cracked the top-20 in the individual standings by finishing as part of a six-way tie for 20th with a seven-over par score of 80. In addition, sophomore Erin Adams tied for 47th (87), junior Megan Selby tied for 71st (94) and finally sophomore Jordan Jarrett tied for 80th with a 97.

The women's team will now wrap up their Spring Break training trip with a few practice rounds in the Hilton Head, South Carolina, area, before returning to tournament action in mid-March (16-17) at the Saginaw Valley State Spring Invitational at the Kearmey Hills Golf Links in Lexington, Kentucky.
