Granville, Ohio- The Wittenberg women's golf team traveled to the Denison Golf Club this weekend where the Tigers finished third out of 11 total teams at the Denison University Lynn Schweizer Invitational.
The Tigers carded a two-day, 36-hole score of 645 (331-314), while NCAC-rival DePauw won the team title at the event with 615 total strokes (311-304). Transylvania finished second overall with a 628.
Four different Wittenberg golfers finished in the top-20 in the 69-golfer field, led by senior Devon Atchison finishing as part of a three-way tie for 12th with a 36-hole of 159 (83-76). Junior Madi Wolters finished alone in 15th with a 160 (83-77)), while junior Kelli Fisher tied for 16th with a 161 (82-79) and sophomore Erin Adams finished as part of a three-way tie for 18th with a 165 (84-81).
DePauw's Rachele Miller took home the medalist award at the event with a six-over par 148 (76-72).

The Tigers will now be off for a few weeks before returning to the links in late September for the NCAA Championships Preview in Houston, Texas, on Monday, September 24th and Tuesday, September 25th.
