Devon Atchison Earns WGCA All-American Scholar-Athlete Honors

Springfield, Ohio – The Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars were announced this week. Junior Devon Atchison represents Wittenberg as a 2018 WGCA All-American Scholar-Athlete. This award makes Atchison the 21st All-American Scholar-Athlete in program history. A total of 1,011 golfers were named to the WGCA All-American Scholar-Athlete list at the conclusion of the championship season this spring.

Atchison finished in the top 15 at three tournaments this season. The junior from Pataskala, Ohio turned in an 85.9 average through 17 rounds this year. Her best outing came at the Pat Clouse Invitational, where she shot a second-round score of 76. Atchison also earned All-NCAC Honorable Mention at the conclusion of the 2018 season.

This is the eighth consecutive year the Tigers have had at least one member earn WGCA All-American Scholar honors.
