Wittenberg alumna Sarah Watson returned in 2013-14 to her alma mater, where she wrote her name into the record books over a standout four-year career.

From 2009 to 2012, Watson compiled 1,069 points and 565 rebounds to become just the ninth 1,000-point scorer in team history and only the seventh to reach the 1,000-point/500-rebound benchmark. She also stands fourth in the career books with 96 made three-point field goals and was a four-year letter winner, three-year team captain and 2011-12 team most valuable player. Watson earned second team All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors in 2010-11 and 2011-12 and was twice named the NCAC Player of the Week.

Following her graduation from Wittenberg in 2012 with a degree in chemistry, Watson spent a year in the United Kingdom working with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America's Young Adults in Global mission program. She currently works as a substitute teacher in Springfield while preparing to pursue a master's degree in higher education administration.
