Win Streak Continues on Road with Win over Kenyon

Gambier, OH- Wittenberg headed to Gambier, OH to take on the Owls of Kenyon for the second time this season. The last time the Tigers saw the Owls in action, Wittenberg had the home court advantage and picked up a 62-40 win. The Red & White were able to do the same on Kenyon's turf, defeating the Owl's with a final score of 72-50.

The Tigers shot 50.0% from the field and 69.6% from the line going 16-23. Wittenberg was able to put 72 points on the board being led by Jazmyn Gaines-Burns with 23 points and two rebounds. Defensively, the Tigers were evenly spread with Evie Wolshire and Jade Simpson grabbing six rebounds each along with four other Tigers picking up five rebounds apiece .

Wittenberg started from behind with a six-point deficit in the first quarter but were able to come back in the second with 17 points to head into the half with a close 26-23 lead. Coming out of the locker room, Wittenberg went to work, putting up 24 points to extend their lead by 14. The Tigers were able to add 22 more points on the board in the final quarter to claim a victory and final score of 72-50.

Wittenberg adds their 11th conference win to their season record and improve to a 18-4 overall record. Wittenberg remains in the top spot in the NCAC just ahead of DePauw with a five-game win streak.
