Hiram, OH- The Tigers started their weekend road competition at Hiram to take on the Terriers. After defeating the Terriers earlier in the season with a 68-48 score, the Tigers had confidence but knew it would be tougher this time around in Hiram's territory. Before the match-up, head coach Kelly Mahlum said they were "looking forward to road trip this weekend. We will need to bring our game on the road and make things happen." Wittenberg was able to fulfill that and take down the Terriers with a 68-60 win.

The first quarter was a close battle with the Terriers keeping up with a 16-16 score with less than three to play, but the Tigers were able to put up nine more points and keep Hiram at 16 to go into the second quarter with a 25-16 lead.

The second quarter would be slower for Tiger scoring, only putting up ten points but Wittenberg's defense was able to limit Hiram to 14 points and keep the lead by five points heading into the locker room.

The third quarter would be no different for a fierce Wittenberg defense who continued to hold Hiram's offense, only allowing 11 points this time. The Tigers were able to come back and put up 17 points to extend their lead by 11 points and a 52-41 score.

Hiram didn't give up and came back in the fourth quarter, only trailing by 4 points in the first few minutes. Wittenberg was able to hold the Terriers off and draw fouls to put the Tigers on the line. Wittenberg was able to take down the Terriers with a score of 68-60. The Tigers shot for 72.7% on the free throw line, 49.1% in FG%, 42.9% in 3PT%, and put up 15 assists.
