SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers open the 2015 postseason with a North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Tournament quarterfinal game against the Kenyon Ladies at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, in Pam Evans Smith Arena.

The Tigers enter the league tournament with a head of steam, winners of 10 of their last 12 games. Wittenberg's 67-55 win over Oberlin on Feb. 22 in the 2014-15 regular season finale gave the Tigers their first 20-win season in 11 years and a 12-4 mark in the NCAC, good for second place in the final standings.

Seventh-seeded Kenyon lost both of its games against Wittenberg during the 2014-15 regular season en route to records of 7-17 overall and 5-11 in the league, but the Ladies presented a significant challenge to the Tigers both times. Most recently, Wittenberg rallied for a 62-59 home victory over Kenyon on Feb. 18.

The winner of the quarterfinal game between Wittenberg and Kenyon advances to the NCAC Tournament semifinals, which will be hosted by the top remaining seed. DePauw, which won the regular season title for the fourth straight year, is the first seed and hosts eighth-seeded Hiram in the quarterfinals.
